Default axles in a 96+ civic

will 90-91 integra axles work for my 98 civic for a b16 or do i have to go 94+?

is there a difference really?

Yes, there is a difference.
You can only use the passenger side of any 90-93 integra axles in any 92-01 civic or integra. That's right.....ONLY the passenger side. The driverside axle & half-shaft HAVE got to be from either a 94+ integra or 99+ Si coupe.
