im puttin the axles in my h22 right now and the passenger side is a pain, i did a search and found someone talking about using a mallet, and another said to jack up the suspension and try wondering if there are any other tricks, and if i did use a mallet where do i hit it at. thanks.

 

are you trying to put it in the hub or the tranny?

if its the tranny pull the axle (not all the way out) and push, the cv joints will come apart and when you push it will sort of self-hammer itself in.

also oil will help slide it in.

If its the hub try and get about 2 threads showing and put the axle nut on it and turn slowly to pull it through.

also oil helps tremendously.
