Default avid mnts???????

i have avid racing mounts in my 94 hatch. first of all we had the hardest time getting my mtr to fit in the car we have put 2 dseries mtr's in the car b4 and they slid right in. but w/ the lsvtec we had some thick bars prying to get mounts to line up. and on top of that couldn't use the driverside mount b/c w/ the ls bracket it set at a retarded angle. at first i thought maybe it was b/c my car had been wrecked b4. but if the mnt's on the b&d series r in the same spot shouldn't it go right in. sorry for all that the question i was wanting to ask is could it be the causing the problem. has ne one had ne similiar problems w/ or w/o these mnts. thanx

Avid mounts are gay... They never go right. I bought one set when doing a swap and i ended up having to weld spacers in to get them to fit properly.

what were u puttin them in. did u have to fight the mtr in too. i know it was the longest weekend, had the wrong rear tranny mnt but luckily found the right one. the came the new homemade pry bars(1 in thick bars) it was a pain but finally got it in then when i got it runnin the brand new type r oil pump frnt seal was leaking and the water pump. it was the worst weekend i have had in a while but i guessit was worth it afterwards

EG, and ya it was a bitch. I took them out just recently and replaced them for Hasports.

If you got the cheese get Hasports.

Sorry, I didn't catch your post till now. Just wanted to ask what rear L bracket did you try with using it with? That could be a problem. That same kit is being used by many pro racers and have not had any issues. Example: James Innes@Mazworx & Joe Simpson@Tempest Racing. Please let me know so I could be more of assistance.
