Default Autometer oil pressure sender question....

How safe would it be to directly mount the sender(for electric oil pressure gauge) to the location on the back of the block(H22a)? Just until I can find the right stainless line/fittings to mount the sender on the firewall...

Not too safe at all.. Mainly because the sending unit and the block have different threads in them..

Also because the sending unit is way too heavy to just hang out of the block like that..

You need to put a 1/8" bspt - 1/8" npt adapter in there.. I would just get the adapter and run a line up to a oil block.. In the oil block you can put your autometer oil pressure sensor..

PM Stan(flamenco-t) and he can get you all setup with the fittings you need..

A junction for oil to flow through.. Kinda like a vacuum manifold except for oil.. Let me see if I can find a pic for you..
