Default autometer gauge reading 210 is it overheating?

just did gsr swap and after it warms up the autometer gauge reads 200-210 while driving and goes up to 230 in traffic. the factory gauge does not show its overheating though. also the fan is working and i put a new 180 thermo in.

Well my gauge read 200-210 during driving or normal traffic. Sound normal to me and don't sweat it if your fan is kicking on.

check your grounding of the sender.

180-185 on the highway, fan cycle on at 205, off at 200.
