Autometer A/F gauge!!

Default Autometer A/F gauge!!

Well i justr installed a A/F gauge, and im not gettin a good reading..it goes to the bottom red light then starts fading out, if i give it gas then it jumps to the green and all the way bak to the red..Every thing is installed correct if im correct...It does not stay a constant color then move as you give it gas, it jumps back and forth..Any help on the problem this could be?

they only read at WOT and arent 100% accurate

The reason why the gauge bounces all over the place is becuase the ECU is constantly tryin to adjust the AFR for a better mixture and better MPG. That gauge is just a light show and is not accurate for tuning purposes. You need a wideband 02 sensor to acurately monitor AFR.

autometer's a/f gauge is a narrowband, it reads ONLY when you're at WOT. you need a wideband which will read the entire rpm band.
