Autometer A/F gauge!!
Well i justr installed a A/F gauge, and im not gettin a good reading..it goes to the bottom red light then starts fading out, if i give it gas then it jumps to the green and all the way bak to the red..Every thing is installed correct if im correct...It does not stay a constant color then move as you give it gas, it jumps back and forth..Any help on the problem this could be?
The reason why the gauge bounces all over the place is becuase the ECU is constantly tryin to adjust the AFR for a better mixture and better MPG. That gauge is just a light show and is not accurate for tuning purposes. You need a wideband 02 sensor to acurately monitor AFR.

autometer's a/f gauge is a narrowband, it reads ONLY when you're at WOT. you need a wideband which will read the entire rpm band.
autometer a/f gauge: junk and bling
