whats the easiest way to get the pedal assem. out so i can bolt on the manual pedals...


the steering column is in the way.. should i just shimmy it till it comes out.. dont want to cut anything

 

bump... how do i get these pedals out... 95 civic auto.. not for long..

 

if you are talking about the brake pedal, which I assume you are since the steering column is in the way, then you should only have to remove the spring on the pedal and the bolt that holds it in. I don't think you need the entire assembly, just the pedal. Atleast on my 92 accord I didn't need the whole assembly.

Leave the gas pedal alone. Swap only the arm on the brake pedal as mentioned above. Then put the clutch pedal in which is a whole seperate assembly.
