Default AUTO LIGHTS

Ok well i dont know if this is where i would post this but anyways... ive had an idea for a while and i dont know how to go about doing it...i wanted to set up some sort of automatic headlight system like the newer cars have...like when it gets dark and the lights come on by themselves... some may like it but i dont really care ... i thought maybe id try to find a light sensitive switch or something or does anyone know where the location of the sensor on the newer cars is or even how it works??? well im oppen to ideas..anybody...

you need a photoelectric sensor. They can usually be found on the dashboard all the way up by the windshield. You will have to wire it in between the headlight switch and the lights. Goodluck!
