auromatic to stick gauge cluster.
my girlfriends 90 integra's speedo makes a loud whining sound and the needle shakes like its gonna fly off. shops are trying to charge me over $500 to fix it so I'm trying to get my friend to sell me a 90-93 integra gauge cluster thats sitting in in garage but he wont cus he says it wont work with an automatic or the plugs wont fit?
Is this true, or will it fit?
just to recap...
will a manual gauge cluster fit in a automatic car?

Well i have a 99 ex civic coupe and its auto ..and i just installed a 00 Si cluster,
everything worked fine. The RPM and Gas needles work fine, the only problem i have is that the cluster will not record milieage. Now while many may seem that as an advantage (it is
), it a little annoying cuz i like to know how much miles im putting on the car.
Either way,, it should work...it worked for me, minus that little set back....

thanks for the reply,
the only question/problem I still have with it is that the I think the newer cars gauge clusters are electronic but the older ones, like the one I'm asking about is mechanical (to my knowledge)
