Default ATTN: people with milled heads (?)

this mainly applies to people with over .020" off the head or block.
Ok so if milling retards cam timing, then it puts extra slack in the T belt, and cam gears can make up for it by advancing, but turning the cam inside the sprocket does not change the position of the timing marks, just the relationship between the position of the cams and crank. so my question is this, how many of you have cam timing marks that don't quite line up when the engine is at TDC?

here I found this for yea.Rocket posted this a few days ago:

On a B-series the cams gears are 100mm in Dia. So the circumfrence of the cam gear is 314mm (100mmxPI). Divide 360 degree by 314 = 1.14 degree per mm.
So for every 1mm milled the cam gears will roll back (retard) 1.14 degrees at the cam or 2.3 degrees at the crank.

So you have a 0.020 milled meaning 0.50mm = about 1.14 degrees retarded, so advance your gears 1 degree to compensate for the 0.020" mill.

Hopes this helps you guys out.

not really, i appreciate it though, i know how much to advance, however, what i am asking is if there is any way to get the TDC marks to all line up or if a milled setup will not allow for 100% alignment of the TDC marks.

Most people only have there heads decked like .005. Mine was and i didn't notice a big differnce, but when you start getting into.020, there might be a noticable differnce in cam timing in relation to the crank, but it still shoudn't be that much!
