I just got my rods and pistons from the machine shop, and one has me a little sketchy.
I had ITR pistons put on GS-R rods and ARP rod bolt pressed in. They all seem mint and they did 'resize' the rod ends. But one of the pistons seem stiff. This is really hard to explain but when i hold the other 3 and shake them side to side the piston moves freely. On the fourth it stays still. I can move it by hand but it is definately different than the rest. I even try WD40 around the wrist pin and it seems to have helped minimaly. Is this normal what should i do?
As usual thanks in advance.

get the pin pressed out again, use 800 grit sandpaper with wd40 or oil and use your pinky finger to gently sand down pin journal bushing in rod (most of them are bronze or similar). You'll know its good as you test fit pin each time you sand some.
Don;t use the piston/rod like that, there needs to be more clearance for oil, the way you describe is bad.
