Default Assembling block, need to change water pump?

Question is do i really need to get a brand new water pump. The water pump on my car right now only has about 2500 miles on it. wha u guys think? safe to reuse?

You'll probably be fine with it. But you have the whole thing apart now. Its not gonna get any easier to change it other than now.

ok cool, i know its recommended and all but just wondering in my case would you HAVE to change it knowing its almost brand new and got low mileage and all. Thanks!
