is my water pump the leak or is it a crack in block

get a made in japan water pump and tensioner.
gates is now made in china so do not buy.
i'm running npw brand, seems like good quality but only time will tell.
koyo tensioner as well.

If you are getting a new water pump get a genuine Honda. Much better quality and less likely to go out.

You can find Genuine Honda water pumps, tensioner and timing belt for the same price as those "OEM" parts. Just have to look.

I am aware of alternative sources for the OE tensioner and timing belt without paying the "Honda box" premium in price... but I haven't been able to source "Yamada" brand oil and water pumps. Since you happen to be on the "Inside"... maybe you could share an alternative source for these products with the H/T community ???
