Default Asking question, about hurting engine.

My friend was doing a burnout with me in the car and he missed 2nd on his B16. He did not rev it to high but deffinetly more than 8200rpm. My question is how much would it take to damage the Head. Could his be damaged it sounds and runs alright.
well thanks for what ever help you can give.

Sounds like all he did was hit the rev limiter while not in gear. That's not too awful a thing to do... just don't do it regularly.
