Arp head studs for b18c1
I'm installing head studs on my gsr and want to know the correct torque spec for them. THe sheet that comes with it says to go to 65lbs/ft for aluminumheads. THe sheet also says on it that those numbers are general specs and are not for specific installaltions. SO what is right?
Also one of the nuts came with no threads?!?!? What's the deal with that? I'm still waiting to hear from them about replacing it.

Thanks. THis is my first time using the studs and the directions are little too non-specific. SO 65lbs/ft. Sounds good. Also, the washer placement, does the concaved side face the nut or down towards the head? We didn't tighten any up yet becuase were waiting for the nut to be replaced, but we put the others in place and had the washers with the concaved cutout facing up towards the nut.

yeah 65# and 68# are good. i personally torqued mine to 67# on my first motor, but 70# on the most recent one. and 75# on another motor for a friend. no sealing problems at all. worked great.
as for the nut thing i don't know about that. kinda odd.
