APR head studs question!!!!

Default APR head studs question!!!!

i heard that you have to torque the head studs 3 times when the studs are new to pre streach them is this true and also what did you use to put the studs into the block? What is the best way please post !! thanks guys going to install them tonight the motor is GSR and what did you torque the studs to

sorry i dont know the answer to your question but i was wondering how much the set of ARP headstuds cost you?

well maybe i can give you an anwser.........ARP usually supplies instructions with their products........follow their instructions and you should be fine.

yeah you hand tighten them then go through 3 stages. of 90 degree turns.

dip them in clean oil or use the supplied lube. then go about the sequence in three steps. 15-20 35-45 then tork to max spec . remember to compensate for the extension, i go 4 ft lb over spec.
