Default Apexi RSM Q's

I just installed one of these yesterday along with the g-sensor into my JDM ITR, i went through all the settings and so on and took the car out for a run to see how everything performs, the rev counter is dead accurate and the speedo is pretty accurate (out maybe 2-3kmph at 70mph). So i set it to measure the power and found a long straight empty stretch of road and took off, i got a reading of 196ps (194bhp) which i'm hoping is pretty accurate but when i looked at the peak numbers, my peak RPMs were 7985rpm even though i hit the limiter in2nd and 3rd gear which is nearer 8750rpm. Could it be that the revs wind up faster than the RSM can count up and i was lifting of to shift before the numbers managed to catch up with the actual RPMs, it seems to keep up well lower down the range but i wasnt able to watch it the whole way up on the run, anyone else experiancing similar problems with their RSM????

Does it read MPH or just KM/H?

I think they all read in KMs, mine does as it came from japan, anywho i figured out what was wrong (well nothing was wrong) the peak RPM figure was the RPM figure that the max power was made at not the peak figure the engine revved to...so its working 100%

did you calibrate the HP Loss first? You have to do that before you could let it measure power. I had it before, awesome device.
