Default Apexi Filter needs Adapter?

I want to buy the Apexi Power Air Filter and stick it on the end of my AEM SR Intake which i think has a 3" diameter but if i buy just the filter then im guessing it wont come with an adapter to fit the pipe so im gonna have to buy that too right? or should i just buy the whole apexi power intake system for my car and just take off the filter which should have an adapter on it already right. Where can i get these for the BEST PRICE and is what ive said even right?

You need an adapter... Funny thing, I need a 3" adapter as well...
Holla at me when you find one, I will do the same!
