anyone have any tips on finding vacuum leaks?
it's hard for me to hear anything when my motor is on because my exhaust is so damn loud. I had an idea of hooking up a coupling to my throttle body and then hooking up my air compressor to the coupling and running air through the motor with the car off and the throttle body open...anything wrong with doing this? anyone have any other ideas besides spraying water and looking for bubbles idea? thanks

you can get some brake cleaner in can spray it round the intake mani and the T-body and anywhere else you may suspect you have leak
once you do this you will hear the engine rpm's slow down a lil bit that will help you locate this prob
brakeclean=the stuff honda sells or anything that wont eat plastic or paint

Honda brake clean will eat plastic and paint. The only thing it does not work so well on is grease
By the way, brake clean or carb cleaner are good ways to find a vacuum leak. Look for a significant change in rpm when you are spraying, just make sure you don't have any bad plug wires or other spark sources, or a vacuum leak will be the least of your problems.
