Default Anyone ever install a walbro intank??

I am going to install my walbro intank today in my 2001 ITR.
HAs anyone done this before.
Any websites with good info
i havent really looked at the job yet just wondering whats ahead

if anyone can be of help i would appericate it

Well you have to take out the back seats.
I know you disconnect the fuel pump and leave the car running to remove all fuel out of the lines. (Don't remember the specific order)
Then you have to open the tank from inside the car, remove old pump and install new one.

I don't know if there are fitment issues.

Check the FI forum (?) there was a discussion about how annoying the 255 was and you will be able to see who has one and talk to them.

It is really quite easy to do. Took me about an hour to do it.
Fits right in, nothing to modify. The sound of the pump is not annoying at all. Just a little louder at startup otherwise you don't hear it at all.

also remember to remove the fuel cap to remove the vac. before removing the pump.

well it turneed out to be easy and i dont hear it at all, its must work cause i have been driving around no problem. ANyways thanks for the help

Anyone having probs w/ their Walbro intank? Mine's getting wayyy loud... sounds like there's something stuck in there... My effective tank size is now ~10gal or so... My motor starts sputtering if I run it below 2 gal...
