Default any suggestions?

I was wondering if anybody out there has any suggestions about these different mods with a b16a engine? i have a 2000 si with a drag 3 turbo set up, fluidyne radiator, urethane motor mounts, traction bars, inline pro head gasket, inline pro cam gears. I thought with the head gasket and cam gears this would save me money by allowing me not to rebuild the bottom end? if i invested in camshafts or valve springs would this add horsepower or would it mess up the setup i already have, i.e. the head gasket and cam gear lowers compression to 9.1 ratio? should i invest in boring out my head? placing stronger rods and pistons in the engine? ive already bought the vafc, 370 cc injectors, and fuel pump in order to take my car to get tuned, but im concerned with mods that give good horsepower and are a good pricel. i was also wondering if i would see any gains from these: larger intake manifold, larger throttle body, full 3 inch exhaust and removal of cat (3 inch). im new to the import scene so i would appreciate any help. thank you very much.

Head gasket, maybe, but cam gears won't really lower your compression. Whoever told you that gets a . When I hear drag kit and a stock motor, the first thing I picture is someone's ringlands who have gone bad. headgasket or not, the chance of melting your piston ring lands is high.

Which cams were you looking at getting? Companies like Crower do make turbo cams, but they're so close to GS-R cams, that I consider them not worth it. Just get the GS-R's. I think before you worry about cams you should get pistons and rods. Seems like a much wiser investment to me.

dear quik chris,
i dont know too much. but i know that inline pro has 3 turbo civics running on 22psi with stock internals. only other mod is their headgasket 2.5mm and their cam gear. i dont understand the technical aspect but they stated that somehow the cam gear and head gasket work in conjunction with one another to produce a 9.1 ratio. are you telling me that im going to throw a rod or melt a piston even with the head gasket and cam gear on my car, i.e. i need to rebuild my bottom end?
thanks for the help

Throw the headgasket on it and then just save your cash to build a bulletproff bottom end for when this one lets go.

Well, a thinker headgasket will lower your compression to whatever ratio, but that still doesn't mean that you can't melt your rings. The reason why inline pro can run that amount of boost is because they're using a stand-alone engine management system which allows them to run an air/fuel mix which can't get them down the 1320 w/o melting anything.
