any input on why/how my ringlands cracked?
here's the setup.....
gsr block,ctr piston,gsr head,stage 2 cams by midnight performance,skunk2 springs/retainers,vafc...
i was @ the dyno...first base run was kool...second base run was kool..then finally got to tuning part...that's when the car starts losing power....did another run..car lost more power....so i was like wtf....did a compression check...240, 260,220,210( was @ 280 b4 dyno)..so i called it quits...drove it home(2hrs away)...took it apart...and this was wut i found....anyone wanna clue in on wut happen??...all cracked on intake side...oo dang...this was on vp 110 octane.....

Seeing how your in Cali from you info, 91 pump gas on 12-13.0:1 compression with stock fueling most likely led to some detination causing the craked ringlands. It also looks from your picture that there was some severe heat in there too, another indication that there wasnt enuff fuel to begine with. Just my $.02
With that kind of compression, on that kinda pump gas, I would recommend starting it with a wide band o2 hooked up after you rebuild it. Get the A/F right from the start.
