Any good places to get rim fixed..?
Ok, I don't know what forum to put this under so I'll put it here..
Basically I bent a damn rim of mine and I'm trying to decide where to get it repaired.. I'm located in the No. Va. area so local would be preferred but I'd consider shipping it out if there are other good places..
I searched and found fixrim.com and rimfix.com.. One was Wheel America or something like that.. Has anyone had first hand experience getting work done at these places? Like the quality of refinishing afterwards? I've heard of YeOleWheel in MD, but I guess I'll call them up tomorrow. I have a RH C2 3-piece and would like it to like decent when its done, it also has some curb checks.. Anyone w/ any experience or advice would be really appreciated. Thanks.

unless your rocking $300+ wheels it's not worth it... they charge like 250-500 bucks.
It's really more for people with stock $1100 wheels.. porsche bmw etc.
I know when I was looking one place was close to VA. Cuz it was too far for me but they're supposed to be the best... they examine any changes to the structure of the wheel and heat it slowly before un-bending it... that way it doesn't get MORE damage then it had before it was fixed.
I'll look around for the name they're one of the big ones that advertise in the back of road&track or car&driver.
this isn't the one I was thinking of but it says it's near you... search google for "wheel repair" (in quotes) then Va. that was the first of MANY responces to that search
