Re: Forged Rim Repair (beeboyee)
I don't know if you can repair a forged rim. Even if you can repair it, the rim will not have the same strength as an undamaged one. If you do repair it just be careful cos the rim over time may fracture, not something you want happen when you're cruising down the freeway. I would, if possible, try and find a new wheel or one that is undamaged, cos the cost of buying another wheel might actually be cheaper than repairing it. Just my opinion.

Re: Forged Rim Repair (hondasleeper)
There is a shop in Stanton Orange County CA. Its called Wheels America and it looks like a good place. I took my bent rim to them to see if they could fix it. Unfortunatly my rim was unfixable. Talking with the guy he says that light weight rims are really hard to fix and easy to bend. Once the riim is bent they have no way of fixing it. But if you would like to try them out the website is http://www.fixrim.com. They dont charge you anything if they find that the rim is unfixable so i would give them a try, you have nothing to lose. But anyways, good luck.
