hey guys i recently picked up 93 ys1 transmission and wanted to know the age old question if whether or not it was a gsr or ls ys1. The guy i bought it from assures me it is a gsr ys1 but i just want to confirm this. By searching i have found out the only way to really find out was by cracking it open and counting teeth on gears. So i wanted to know what exactly do i have to look for and count inside the tranny I searched and i all i could find was answers like "open it and count the teeth" but i want to know what teeth exactly do i have to count and what should i come up with and what is the easiest way of doing this. Please help as i would like to find out which one it is before installing it into the car.
