Tranmission question
alright honda tech guys, can yall help me out. for almost a week i've been searching and searching with no luck .
I've was trying to find the gearing of my a1 tranny.i know it a ls tranny and i had it for 4 and a half years but to me there something different about.
this it my current setup:
91 civic hb
ls/vtec
built bottom end
stock b16 head
gsr cams
sc34 on a log manifold
while i was searching all i could find is the a1 tranny is hard to find, to its a jdm tranny, to someone had perchus a jdm b16 that came with a a1tranny and last but not lease that tranny is the same as the j1,s1,y1. i also though about getting a newer gsr tranny, axles, hydro to cable converson and a new clutch but i dont feel like spending like $1200. i can put that money to something else. i hope i made sense and please dont bash me for asking this question.
