Another b20 revving problem
I have a b20 swap on an eg. Preparing for a vtec head swap but having problems with the revving. It idles fine runs fine but itll bump off at 6000RPM on the stock tach. I did some reading and I already replaced the ignitor and the ignition coil. Ecu is a chipped p28 from phearable and is suppose to redline at 7k rpm. I thought it would be the ecu so I removed the p28 and used a p75 and still the same results. No check engine light at all.

its common in the 92-95 civic, might work. Assuming you have no check engine light and everything is wire properly. Search button is your best friend.

Hahaha good one.
This has come to my thoughts. Ive been searching for about 5+ days and came up with someone that had problems with his wire from the dizzy. How "off" can the auto meter tach compared to the stock one. I do have an auto meter tach and the RPM reading are not the same. I thought that the aftermarket tach is just so off compared to the stock one. When im driving the difference between the two tachs gets greater and greater. At idle its about 300 rpm off and when applying throttle it goes up to 500 to almost 1000 rpm. I just really thought that the aftermarket tach was very off on the reading.
