Default Another B16 motor building question

Would it be worth wile to put a B18 LS head on a B16 block? Does antone know if it would make much of a difference or should I save my money?

Bad idea. There are many, many cons to this setup, and only one pro that I know of-Higher revving capability.

What would happen if you did it? You would essentially have a B16 with a head that flows worse than a VTEC head, no VTEC and a rod ratio destined to make power higher than the B18A cams would. It would be slow and worthless, but yes, you could do it. SO basically, take the B16, disable VTEC and subtract quite a bit of flow from the head.

Save your money and buy a VTEC head. IF you must use the head for something, use it on a B20 block
