This is from the Apexi website for a V-afc. From what Im reading...you can set vtec ingagement depending on acceration or deacceration...BUT!!!! the decerating ingagement can not be higher than the accerating ingagement....and the accerating ingagement can not be lower than the decerating ingagement. So inturn they have to be set the same!!!!????!!!


"A tuner can adjust the RPM point at which the engine switches from the Lo to Hi cam during acceleration as well as when the engine switches from the Hi to Lo cam during deceleration. However, the Hi to Lo (deceleration) rpm setting cannot be set higher than the Lo to Hi (acceleration) setting and the Lo to Hi (acceleration) rpm setting cannot be set lower than the hi to Lo (deceleration) setting. The adjustment range is between 3000 - 7000 rpm in 100 rpm increments."
