this guy says he has a b series short block for sale that has like no miles on it because his insurance company sent it to him as a replacement from Honda.... so my question is.. is this real? does this really happen? or am i getting played for a fool.

 

I think that dude is trying to pull one over on you. I have never heard of that happening, and it sounds very unlikely, knowing insurance companies. Even if they really sent out "replacement engines" ,they wouldn't have sent the engine to him, they would have sent it to whatever shop they authorized to do the work. You should probably kick that dudes *** for trying to screw you.

They either pay you or a shop. But either way, insurance companies do not hand out parts.
