Default always *&%$^$ something....code 23

ok, fixed the clutch.....fixed a bad O2 sensor plug......now im getting a 23 knock sensor code. i can clear it but it comes back soon as i hit 3000 rpm. car runs fine up to 3K, then when the code hits it gets really sluggish and boggs down. i can put the gas to the floor and it doesnt rev at all. any ideas?

hey, mike, this is not gonna help much, but Hoda knock sensor only goes to 5000 rpm, that is more likely the reason why you can rev it over 3K and the car runs fine...

do you have helms ? if not, I can try to trouble shoo it using my helms...

just gimme a call, 214-783-7247..

thanks bro, i kinda gave up on her for the night. i have 2 extra knock sensors, and im going to clean all the connections tomorrow morning. i was getting so upset i kicked my baby in the nose, so i knew it was time to quit. i just dont understand how it was running fine in the morning, then i got a O2 sens. code and the idle went to crap, i fixed that, and it was good again, then it just started acting up. where are you now anyway?

I'm throwing a code 23 right now as well, but it runs fine, doesnt do any of the stuff your car does. It still engages VTEC, runs up to redline, everything... Is your car OBD-II?
