my EG with b series swap been having problem, everytime i turn on the a/c my engine died. do you think its because bad alternator? do u guys know what kind of alternator are we using, if i want to replace it? thanks it advance

 

Take it to a parts store and have them check the start & charging systems.

 

If the engine shuts right off as soon as you turn on the A/C, sounds like the problem is with the A/C compressor, not the alternator. If it has no running problems with the A/C off, headlights on, rear defog, radio, etc. then it's not an alternator issue at all.

 

sounds like you have a seized compressor.

 

To check your alternator: Loosen your + side of your battery and turn on your car. Once the car is on take the + side off your battery; if the car dies then the alternator is dieing out. If not then its something with your a/c
