Default Alternator ground fried is it reusable?

My alternator ground is fried, is this still reusable? This happend when my fuel pressure regulator hose came off and spilled fuel all over the engine bay and i guess it fried up the alternator.

Thank god the car didnt catch on fire. here are some pics, i have a new alternator anyway so im just wondering if this is still reusable or should i get another ground from another wiring harness.
here are som pics

If the wire is cool then it should be okay.... The same thing happened on my friend's GSR/EK... I still don't know why the wire burned up but I had to just run a extra one that I had because the wire was destroyed.. It looks ghetto but the next time we pull the motor i'll rewire it into the loom... Latez

Ground wire? That looks like the main power lead thats fried. The rubber boot is a dead give away. I have tried fixing that same problem and it worked for a while then had to replace the wire entirely. The wire was shorted out on the inside.

Yup on a DC, EG, or EK it should be the lead closest to the front of the car... The one closer to the firewall should be the main power straight off the batteries + if i'm not mistaken... Latez
