Default Alternator differences?

anyone know how to tell the difference between an OBD1 and OBD2 alternator for B-series?

heres a pic, anyone know? i seem to remember new models with a green plug, but this one is brown. Im leaning towards OBD1, but not 100%

I dunno?

Mine is OBD1 and it has a green plug on the engine harness and brown on the alternator I can take pictures if it would help. What are the 4 smaller gauge colors in the wiring harness, do you know? Maybe those changed from OBD1 to OBD2

The OBD0 and OBD1 plugs are the same round style. The OBD2 plugs are square like in your picture. If you need to use the OBD2 style in an OBD1 vehicle or vice versa you can just do this:
