oops haha i didnt even relized i put that ::stupid::. I ment, would a obd2 alternator work on a obd1 car. The guy i got the alternator from said it was from an 2000 ls but theres a date engraved that says 2004 on it.

i am pretty sure the plugs are not the same, but it will bolt right up. if the plugs are different, you would need to get plugs from an obd2 harness and use it on ur obd1 harness

checked the alternators, and there is only one plug right (green)? Along with the ground wire. obd2 alt. matches the pattern of the prongs from the obd1 harness. So this should work right?
