Default already have intake, should i get headers or exhaust next?

um yea i am working on my intake/header/exhaust combo and I already have an air intake installed . i am looking to get to the next upgrade but i do not want to get both exhaust and headers at the same time since that would cost like 800 bucks plus

should i get headers first or exhaust first???

does it matter which one i get first , because i am thinking that if i get headers on a stock exhaust it might not even help.... i dunno if this is true or not though but would u guys know ???

Generally, it would be a good idea to upgrade the header first, unless you have a hybrid setup with a stock 1" VX exhaust, or something of that sort. By the way, you only need one header on a inline-4 engine.
