is there a more logical choice? header or exhaust?
i was wondering... intake installed and headers and exhaust coming, but should i consider buying either before the other? i would think exhaust would be better for relieving some back pressure. would craming a bunch of air through intake and headers into a stock exhaust system be pointless? are there more gains to have w/ intake and headers 1st or intake and exhaust 1st? all three will eventually be there. Help!

You shouldn't worry like this. Since you eventually will have all basic I/H/E it shouldn't matter.
But to answer your question. The gains between intake exhaust and intake header is minimal. Though it is logical to relieve the gas of the engine first through exhaust.
If cramming intake header into stock exhaust, the engine can only expel as much gas as the exhaust can flow. Thus, working and taking air as fast as it can release. It wouldn't be pointless because you are still gaining power. That's the goal right?
