ALMOST lost it on the freeway earlier!!!!
I just drove my friends EG coupe to run an errand and it was the scariest thing in the world. It's lowered on Eibach sportline w/ 195/50/15 tires. It's got stock shocks but at 60-70mph and hitting uneven pavement the back end will want to swing out. What's going on???
Are the springs not installed correct? Are the shocks not rebounding? Is this the famous...bumpsteer? Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

First off, check tire pressure. Easiest way to lose traction cornering is underinflated tires. 2nd, are the tires the same, different tires are going to have a different grip threshold. 3rd, are the tires crappy tires? Upgraded suspension should be paired with decent sticky tires.
Stock shocks should be ok if they are working.

that's what im thinking, his alignment is probably out....did he have a 4 wheel alignment done after he lowered it?

Bad alignment, improperly inflated tires, bad shocks, incorrect installation of springs, etc etc. It could be a lot of things, and likely a combination of them. Alignment and tire pressures would be at the top of the list for what you experienced.
It's bad toe. With incorrect toe after lowering, the tires are fighting each other, but canceling each other out so you still go straight. When one tire loses traction, it can no longer cancel out the other tire, and it'll pull the car in the direction that it's pointed.
This isn't a personal crack or anything kinda **** like that, but poor driving will bring out the worst in even a well-setup car. You're implying that you were driving fast (tail won't step at 35mph...if so, then the car has issues). Is this on an on-off-ramp?
Bumpsteer usually only applies to the front, so unless it's so bad that you're giving really significant steering input. The shocks are properly gone, but I agree that a needed alignment is the culprit.

A lot of lowering springs are not stiff enough to keep the car off the bumpstops. What if the back is hitting the stops? That would make the car go from steady state to woohoo really quickly. Add in stock shocks that may have been beaten up badly from bottoming, and the toe out that comes from no alignment after lowering and the car could be a handfull going through the drivethrough, much less at any speed.
