what comes first, shocks or tires.
bad shocks cause damage on tires. Now damage tires cause shocks to be worst. I need to change both. Unfortunately no place can do both at the same time (unless I want to pay their $$$). Plus $$ is tight as is with all of us. So may need to shop around and wait.
What should I do first? Shocks or tires?

all depends on how bad they both are...
If your ties are bald and treadless, then tires first...
If your tires are drivable then shocks first...

Tires are usually cheaper than shocks, and much easier to install, so I'd go with that first if it's not horribly prohibitive.

I should also include that the tires pretty new. The damaged rear shocks damaged only the rear tires where there are bumps now on the surface. The bumps inturn cause unnecessary compression to the shock. So the shock is thinking I'm on a bumpy road all the time.
I could do tires first, but then the bad shocks will damage my tires. If I roll on the bumpy tires, I would wear out the shocks.
