I'd stick with the full B16A and go to higher revs. An all motor mildly modded B16A(with stripped interior) should get you in the 14's easily.

boost it, from what many people say lsvtec is very unreliable ... it sounds like your daily driver, so why make ur car all nasty and strip the interior? what a waste for .2 seconds

Man whatever, it takes too much money to make all motor fast. Just turbo that ho.

whats the hatred on the lsvtec is a very powerful combo when done right. I love boost just to much hassle to deal w/. Build a nice LS vtec go all motor. you be proud once youve beaten a few turbo cars w/ just the motor. B16 is just to small of displacment.

depends what u want to do. personally im an all motor guy. NA cars absolutely rule the streets then some guys add NOS to the equation and really rule.
theres problems with any setup whether its NA or turbo. realistically just bolting on a turbo is ok, but it still puts a car like urs into the mid 13s, tuned correctly on low boost it should run lower 13s maybe high 12s. problem with turbos is they are hard to launch because they put out alot of torque.
NA on the other hand is expensive yet once built correctly they dont have traction issues cause they dont put out near the torque. roughly for a decent cam setup (skunk2 stage 2s) ur lookin at 1700 which isnt too bad. really if u pick and choose ur NA parts correctly it should cost about the same as a basic "bolt on" turbo kit. i say go NA cause on the street they rule, at the track they still rule. bottom of the line is that most turbo cars arent fully built nor tuned.

Really?

Lets see, good to great turbo kit with everything needed is $2600-$5000.

High quality motor build with everything needed is $2500-$4000.

1) A lot of people say they'd spend $4000 for a GSR swap. While with $4000 I can build my SOHC VTEC to be faster than the GSR.

2) Then the next $3000-$4000 for the GSR guy goes for a motor build for turbo, while the SOHC VTEC that is already built, just got a APEXi turbo kit with everything needed.

3) The next high bundle of money for Mr. built/GSR goes for his turbo kit. Then Mr. built/SOHC/turbo spend not nearly that high amount for, lets say a 55-65 shot of juice.

No matter how you look at it, it just seems a motor build is cheaper and will benifit you in the long run. IMO. And I'm stayin' SOHC, so even better for me.

Just IMO.
