Default are all bseries clutches the same?

what are the differences between, say a 92gsr cable tranny clutch and a 2000 itr hydro clutch? etc?

Is the difference just in the pressure plate or just the clutch disc itself?

The clutch, fw, and pressure plate are interchangable if both trannys are hydro.

But not hydro and cable trannys.

Wrong on the flywheel part.

Flywheels are interchangable between hydro and cable tranny's...but not clutch and pressure plate.

So you can use a flywheel from a 91 integra(cable) on a 98 ITR(hydro)

Are you positive on that one? Because I have personally taken an entire clutch assembly off a OBD0 B16A w/ Y1 cable tranny (was converted to hydro though) and installed it into a 96 B18C type R w/ USDM S80 ITR tranny and it worked fine.

Do a search on here...'supposedly' using a cable clutch/pressure plate wont work on a hydro transmission...I personally don't see why not but I'm going by what I was informed and some of the different part numbers for clutch kits between hydro and cable transmissions.

Input shaft sizes are larger on ITR transmissions, so the pilot bearing will not be the same.

i believe that flywheel and pressure plate are the same. 90-91 do not have the same splines as 92+ so the discs are not the same

Here are some facts to help this thread:

all b-series pressure plates and flywheels are interchangable.
all 1992 and up transmissions share the same disc, and input shaft. YS1, Y21 S4C S80 etc.. yes this does cover 2 years of cable trannys.
1990-1991 integra and all jdm Y1, J1 S1 share the same clutch disc and input shaft.

also to add

90-91= small spline

92-01= bigger spline

92-93 and 94-01 clutches are the same app. regardless if its cable or hydro

so i could use a big-spline clutch disc and mate it with a bseries cable tranny pressure plate; and bolt that whole assembly to a 2000 itr hydro tranny?

This is true, I did have to change my pilot bearing. Forgot to mention that. But as far as the main 3 clutch components I used everything.

The throw out bearing is what makes the kits different, that is teh ONLY difference
