Default Air fuel gauge install question

I have been trying to install An autometer a/f Gauge in my car for a week now. Im splicing the o2 wire to the ecu harness using a wiring diagram and can't find the right wire. One reason I'm having trouble is that my secondary o2 is blown out and a CEL is on. Which o2 sensor wire does it splice to on a 2000 integ GSR? And how will it act with the CEL on?

theres only one white wire in your harness. that is the primary o2 sensor line, use that. im not sure your entire car will function properly with the cel light on. the ecu might not like that. btw i would recomend soldering the splice you make on the harness

it goes into the primary o2 wire so don't worry about it.

Since the CEL is on the car is running in safe mode and not using the o2 sensor the adjust fuel, the gauge will just stay rich and not move at all? And if I pull the back-up radio fuse and replace it after five minutes or so the gauge will bounce as usual until the CEL comes on again?
