I went to the Acura dealership today and they said seeing I bought the car from a European dealership they think they put the oil in and didn't put some other sort of lubricant in so the oil wouldn't gunk up? I just changed the oil and I KNOW I didn't put anything else in there. What else am I supposed to put in my oil? I've already drivin it 1500 miles with this oil (moble 1 syn. 10w-30). Is there a chance I could have damaged it?? EEP!! This car is my baby! What do I need to do?

 

Relaz guy, you're fine, they are trying to get a few more bucks outta you. I think most guys on this forum don't use additives

 

As said above, It's just the dealership trying to get extra $$ out of you.
Additives are a waste. Just run straight oil.

 

Yeesh... Bastards anyway. Thanks, I trust you guys more than anyone. I dont pay you guys yet you've always been right in the past I'm going back tomarrow and I'm going to get EVERY detail on tape. (Just cant stand bastards like this!)
