i just purchased an momo steering wheel and i am installing it on my dc2 integra....my question was that the part called (cable reel) needs to be tooken out...someone told me that it needs to....but i cant get one of the two plugs off...also i did a search on the topic but no such luck....any help would be appreciated....

i just put on a MOMO wheel on my dc2 and it was a little harder than i thought it should be. I got the steering wheel off just fine but that cable reel thing sucks ***. There is a yellow plug that is part of the airbag system, it needs to get unhooked. It s under the steering column and it is hard to get at but i used a flat head screwdriver to help disconnect it and then eveything went pretty smoothly. That is the only really tough part, hope it helps.
