Default Aftermarket revlimiter ?

I own a 1998 ITR with boltons. See sig. for more details. Valvetrain is completly stock.

The engine is controlled by a chipped P28 with a Skunk2 program with 5200 Vtec and 9200 Revlimit. I tried about 6 different programs but this chip feels the best especially at high end. The only problem is the revlimit which is not safe for the stock valvetrain. Im looking for an aftermarket revlimiter so that I can set a lower revlimit. Any recommandations?

You can get another chip with a lower rev limit, or install some valvesprings capable at higher rpms.

Or, just dont rev that high easy as that !! heh

msd has the 6 series, that has a rev limiter to it, what it does is it just cuts the spark out for a desired pill rpm, you can still reach that red line of 9200

Why don't you just use the stock ECU? You are just using bolt on parts, so the stock ECU should be fine.
