AFC vs. Uberdata
I just bought an AFC, and was planning on putting it in, but then my buddy told me about uberdata he says it's actaully better than an AFC. should i stick with the controller or go with uberdata? Im using 450 DSM injectors.
Really? I would have thought the AFC was a better way to go just because you have it digitally on your dash. Maybe if i need to adjust it or something...

Errr...by default, the fact that it ***** with the MAP signal means it is messing with the ignition maps - not so much in a good way for boosted applications though.

Honda-Tech is here for answers, no doubt - but if your friend, who 'uses it and can do it for you' can't convince you to go with it, then what is HT gonna do for you?
You're comparing something that can make CORE changes to ignition and fuel maps....with an AFC, you are at the MERCY of whatever fuel and ignition maps are burned into the rom and so all the AFC is doing is 'pointing the cursor', so to speak, at different parts of the fuel and ignition maps.
There is NO comparison to be made between the two.....

What he said ^
I had a VAFC, and sold it without even installing it because Uberdata could be installed and mapped at the same price, even cheaper actually.
Even though the VAFC will make your interior look alot cooler Uberdata all the way dude!!!!!
