Default AEM intake sizing question

I am looking to get an AEM intake for my (1g)B16a powered 91 civ HB. What is the pipe diameter size on the dohc vtec intakes? I know the stock crx Si intake size is 2 3/4 inches. I was wondering if there is a size difference and if there is what kind of difference everyone thinks it might make. Any ideas?

Ive seen the right up on homemade aem CAI on the crx forum but I was wondering what ideas everyone has for a 91 HB. The intake has more bends and would be a little harder to make.
