Default aem cai whistling

just installed aem cai on my gsr today...i hear a quiet high pitched whistle type sound whenever i gas it up around 2.5k rpm...and then when the rpms build up it goes away...this is normal right?

yeah man...better get used to it. some people hate it, some people like it. personally, i think it's pretty sweet!

Its from air passing through the stainless steel mesh screen that holds the cotton filter together.
heh...I'd wondered exactly what caused the whistling.
