Default Cam Gear Settings

I have a B16A w/ CTR pistons, CTR Cams, and other non-relevant mods, but my question is this: In an issue of HCI I have(I know riceboy monthy) they dialed the Crower stage 1 cams, very simialar to CTR at +4intake -5 exhaust. They got another 10hp by doing this. I was wondering if with my pistons if that would be safe? The dome is way higher than stock b16 pistons. I was wonding if the increase in compression would make it not gain any any way, or if it would have an adverse effect? I know the best thing to do is dyno it, but I want a VAFC before I waste time dynoing it. Thanks please let me know if anyone else has a similar setup.

ok, the truth is that every car is different. one car may have the exact same mods as you but the cam gear settings on that car won't be optimal on your car. if i were you, i wouldn't start messing around with that stuff...wait till you get your vafc and get your beast tuned.

Does anyone have like a base setting to tide me over? Does anyone think that with my mods, that I would smash my valves @ the settings HCI used? I'm sure there are more people out there with CTR pisons and cams in a B16A, where are you? Thanks guys.
