Default Adjustable gears on stock cams?

Is it worth it? Ill be running 12.5:1 CR so i want maximun tunability. As of now ill have a VAFC, FPR, 310cc injectors, gsr fuel pump, mebbe the gears, all in a JDM GSR engine. Je pistons 20 over (1.9L), eagle rods, stock head, balanced, micropolished crank etc etc. Any other suggestions for tuning? I really dont want my engine blowing cause of detonation...

Thanks for any help,

-Nick-

Yes, the only thing is you will be adjusting where your power is......you will take away from low and put it high or vise versa........
